POSITION: INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (IST)

RIVERCOM 911 is seeking a qualified individual for the fulltime position of Information Systems Technician (IST). RiverCom 911 is a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) handling law, fire, and emergency medical 911 calls for Chelan and Douglas County. Reporting to the IT Manager, the position is responsible for all automated systems maintained by RiverCom and telephone systems connected to RiverCom.

The monthly salary range for the position is $4,000-$4,630.50 DOE. Benefits include medical-dental-vision insurance, WA State retirement plan, vacation, and sick leave. Work schedule is Monday-Friday during regular business hours but with ability to work other hours, including night and weekend hours as needed. Regular and punctual attendance is a condition of employment.

Applicants must possess a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable job experience in the information technology field. The position requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex network and computer systems, knowledge of computer networks, IP systems, router configuration, PC repair, phone systems, telephone cable installations, and power distribution, alarm, and telemetric systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates ability and interest in new technologies.
